PRESENTATION

My name is Pia K Töre-Wallin and I live with my partner and a bunch of cats and a Norfolk terrier in Kungsängen north of Stockholm. In the picture above you can see me hugging a merry little Brit, (Aurora out of my first litter, read more about her under My British Shorthairs. We live in a, under the circumstances, perfect atrium house - traditional red with white corners; of course! - with excellent space both for cats, dog and ourselves, with a suitable little garden for all of us to use as we like it. Below you can see what a Swedish winter and summer is like here in Kungsängen.

I have had a cat since I was a teenager, my first "own" cat I got when I left home to my own. After a few sessions with house cats and Persians "I finally settled down" when I found the wonderful, charmful breed, the British Shorthair. I totally fell for it, cosy, chubby, sound and with exactly the right speed for me.

My first Brit, EP & IC S*Iliadens Idomeneus "Oscar" was born in 1991 in Finspång and moved in with me. Today I have eight cats, of which three are spayed and neutered, four are fertile females and one fertile male. Read more about them all under
My British Shorthairs. My first BSH litter was born in 1993 and since then I've had 16 BSH litters (before that three litters of Persians).I take at the most one or two litters per year, then I feel I have the time to enjoy the kittens and to find the right homes for them, at the same time manage a full time job and my other interests. I breed my BSH litters to be companions, for showing and breeding - my philosophy is quality, not quantity - with a special preference for the creme coat colour. The litters are born with a certain irregular regularity. In 1998 I became second best SVERAK (The Swedish Cat Clubs' National Association) BSH breeder and in 1999 I became Best BSH Breeder in SVERAK. For more information on my sales regulations, what litters I have or plan, look under
"Kittens".
