Through the years the thought of also having a dog in the family grew stronger.
Not too big, not too small, robust and charmingly shaggy ...
So a Norfolk terrier it was to be - a big dog in a smaller, square and handy size!! Perfectly matched with the British shorthairs you could say.
Though much more intensive, energetic and stubborn ...

Malte was born and breed on a horse-farm in Skåne (Scania in the very southern part
of Sweden), nearby the beautiful castle of Maltesholm. So it was just so prefect that Malte was the name I had decided on, a long time ago, for my future dog!

He is extremely friendly, cuddly and just so happy to experience everything new, both different surroundings, new people and other animals. He has just turned 2 years old and we hope he¹ll soon be a grown up, calm and well-behaved dog ...

Malte was also supposed to be shown at dog shows, he did quite well at non-official puppy-shows. But unfortunately he grew an under-bite and therefore he'll just contribute with his sunny personality at home instead.

He is also a perfect and rather rough educator of kittens - a kitten used to Malte's ways will come well-equipped for its new home ...

I can't say that all the older cats like Malte as much as he likes them ... Every single day he tries to charm them in every dog-way possible (wagging his tail, chasing them, bark and sneak up on them) - but believe it or not, some are hard to charm ...
